The waves of life!

There are moments in life - moments that bring out a series of emotions to the fore... Be it love, hatred, happiness, anger, self-denial, disbelief... Each moment of these hormonal imbalances teaches us a new lesson - that no matter good or bad, tomorrow is another day, and today would be history the next minute... Clinging onto the past and basking in its glory or resigning to your fate based on it, is something that's been of concern to all of us... We've all been through it, yet every instance is a new experience...

January has been a very eventful month for me, many for wrong reasons...

First the good - I've had my first vacation back home ever since I got to this country. I met people whom I've been longing to meet for a while now. Things have changed, over the last few years. But the people are the same, the same affection, the same hospitality, the same friendship. I've also met new people, made new friends and had new experiences. Something that I would cherish for a long long time to come...

The bad - we'll just shrug them off... But I've learnt a few lessons as a part of them! That nothing is permanent... People, emotions, wealth, situations - nothing... And its scary when
harsh reality hits you, and hits you where it hurts the most... The ray of sunshine in this dark reality is the fact that human memory is short-lived... It tends to forget, or at least heal the intensity over time...

Sweet is the way of life's path... The wave of emotions that it takes you through, the experience it enriches you with, and the strength it gives the heart and mind through this journey...

Well, sorry for the removal of comments on this one... I am not hunting for sympathy! I felt like expressing my views on the ups and downs of life, with a first hand experience. I know I am fine, as I've always been, but when you see your near & dear ones going through pain, its hard to digest...
The intention of the post was not to vent my feelings, but to make an observation on how life takes you on its roller coaster ride, how it plays with your emotions, and how we tend to move on playing the game of life...

Hi Kalyan, Yes Life is full of ups and downs, just like the waves. One has to go through the night to welcome a new and bright day. That is what makes us stronger. Facing everything with a smile is the real challenge of life. And I appreciate and respect people with that kind of attitude.
Good going. .
